Source hierarchy
Diocesan and parish-owned pages are preferred for names, addresses and worship schedules. We do not treat competing directories as primary evidence. A listing identifies its source and latest check whenever that information is available.
Human review
Automated checks may detect and structure a change, but changed records enter a private review queue before publication. Unknown page layouts, missing schedules and unusual changes fail closed instead of silently replacing known data.
Original guidance
Guide articles are written for Next Mass USA around practical visitor questions. We do not copy parish descriptions, photographs, bulletins or editorial articles without permission. Facts taken from an official source are attributed or linked where they matter.
Corrections
Visitors and parish representatives can report an error. Evidence from an official page is prioritized, and accepted updates receive a new verification date. A correction request does not guarantee that the proposed wording will be published.
Advertising independence
Advertising supports the directory but does not determine whether a church is included, how it is ranked or what an article says. Ads are visually labelled and kept away from navigation and correction controls. Paid placement, if introduced in the future, will be clearly distinguished from ordinary directory results.
